Job description

To deliver quality direct patient care under appropriate clinical supervision to patients with psychiatric disorders, or those duly diagnosed with psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders; to serve actively and constructively as a member of the organization's multi-disciplinary treatment team, and support the organization's philosophy of care.

Minimum Work Experience

Basic knowledge of psychiatric disorders and detoxification assessment along with treatment procedures for chemically dependent patients. In this position you will need to have the ability to interact effectively with the clinical team and other staff as well as the following competencies: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and time management. The ideal employee will have empathy for patients and their families, be flexible, and exercise consistent telephone etiquette and quality customer service at all times. Proven capability of handling sensitive and highly confidential information is a required. Must demonstrate the ability to learn concepts and develop additional and needed skills within reasonable time frame via organization's orientation and training program. Good written and oral communication skills; legible handwriting is necessary.

Required License

Current CA - LVN / LPT license; CPR & CPI (or to be obtained within 30 days upon hire)
