About Our Medical Staff

Dr. Tim Park

Medical Director

“I'm very excited and humbled to be joining the team at Vista del Mar,” said Park. “It was because of my experience at this hospital as a medical student that I ultimately became a psychiatrist. Working with Dr. Ruths, Dr. Sager and Dr. Reyes was fantastic, and now, to return to Vista del Mar as a staff psychiatrist and medical director is truly an honor.

After attending medical school at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, Calif., Park completed a combined residency training program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Psychiatry and Family Medicine.

He also served as chief resident and as a member of the Graduate Medical Education House Staff Council. He is board certified in Psychiatry and Family Medicine. Park is most passionate about direct patient care. “I am a clinician at heart, and to be of service to patients when they are at their most vulnerable is deeply gratifying. I know this hospital, and all the dedicated individuals that work here fulfill a vital role in the community, and I can't wait to jump in and learn the ropes from all of you.”
