Law of Sobriety: Attracting Postive Energy for a Powerful Recovery
Sherry Gaba, Licenced Clinical Social Worker and author of the ground-breaking and award-winning book, The Law of Sobriety: Attracting Positive Energy for a Powerful Recovery and co-host of CBS Sky Radio’s, A Moment of Change, will share her model for combining the Law of Attraction with specific action steps to create and maintain sobriety. The Law of SobrietyTM focuses on embracing the power of being in recovery and defining a new vision for one’s sober life. It combines the theories behind the popular Law of Attraction with specific action steps to create and maintain sobriety, including:
- Living a life of purpose and with intention
- Finding life’s value
- Learning to live in appreciation and with compassion
- Living a life of authenticity
- Deciding how to best create right action
- Living with profound awareness and mindfulness
- Letting go of resistance and attachments
As the author describes it, this book is a marriage of the Law of Attraction and the actions a person must take to recover from their addiction – whether the addiction is to drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, shopping, nicotine, eating, or anything else. Hence, she calls it, “the law of sobriety.”
