For the first time, Vista del Mar Hospital’s Lunch and Learn will change locations to the natural setting of Ojai, California. We are calling it “The Lunch and Learn Experiential”. Attendees will observe and experience Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) demonstrated by Julie Sardonia and the Reins of H.O.P.E. team. Together Dr. Sumalpong and Julie will share how Vista del Mar Hospital and Reins of H.O.P.E. work collaboratively in the treatment of PTSD.

Through discussion and demonstration of an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy session, attendees will be able to:
- Discuss the Evidence Based Treatments used for the treatment of Active Duty Military and Veterans.
- Summarize the processes of EAP and inpatient treatment for PTSD.
- Identify when appropriate to refer a client to an adjunctive therapy and/or inpatient program.
