Vista del Mar Hospital in Ventura

Welcome to Vista del Mar Hospital in Ventura, California. As the CEO of our licensed and accredited acute psychiatric hospital, I am dedicated to ensuring that our mental health services are consistently administered in support of our mission to deliver quality behavioral healthcare to the patients and communities we serve in Southern California and Ventura. With 87 individual patient beds and 16 acres of beautiful open land with gorgeous ocean views, Vista del Mar treats its many patients in a comfortable and relaxing environment. We offer both inpatient and outpatient comprehensive care programs for adults and teens, as well as support for family members and any others affected by mental illness.

Care, compassion, commitment, teamwork and excellence. These five pillars combine to create what we call the Vista Difference. They represent the values that lie at the foundation of our mental health services and patient care commitment. We always put the needs of our patients first and treat every one with genuine respect and compassion. Our number one concern is safety and wellness, and we work to provide a healthcare facility in a close-knit community founded on service, accountability and progress. We believe recovery is always possible and each member of our team dedicates themselves to helping each patient achieve their goals.

Community outreach is also an important part of our vision, as we provide resources and education through events and projects throughout the year in Ventura. It’s important for the community to have a better understanding of mental illness and behavioral disorders so the right support and encouragement can be given to those in need.
