Admissions Process Overview
To take your first step toward healing, call today at 1-877-518-1110 to speak with an Assessment & Referral Specialist. Your specialist will ask you a series of questions to determine if an in-person assessment is the appropriate next step.
Remember, you do not have to heal alone. We prepare personalized support for every patient and their families to ensure they receive the attention they deserve. In addition, we place equal importance on instilling you and your loved ones with comfort and knowledge about the hospitalization experience.
If you are considering care for yourself, someone you love, or someone in your counsel, our dedicated team of professionals are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays, to speak with you about our programs and services.
Mental Health Assessment
In order to provide the best treatment options possible, Vista Del Mar performs an initial assessment to determine how we can best care for you during your stay. This assessment helps us in discovering how you are feeling emotionally and physically so we can identify the most appropriate programs and services that will meet your needs.
If you find yourself struggling in school, work, or home activities due to mental health or substance abuse issues, such as
- Drug/Alcohol Abuse
- Bipolar Disorder
- Suicidal/homicidal thoughts
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Obsessive Compulsivity
If it is determined that hospitalization provides the best course of treatment, you should allow for 1 1/2 hours to complete the admissions process.
