Teen & Family Support

Vista del Mar Outpatient Services offers an after- school program designed to provide a comprehensive therapeutic environment for the treatment of behavioral health issues. The focus of our program is to provide an encouraging environment that promotes healthy choices and self-awareness, resulting in positive behavioral and emotional changes.

Vista's teen program offers support and treatment without the need for inpatient care. This intermediate level of care offers a much needed treatment bridge between inpatient hospitalization and the traditional office outpatient setting. Our program provides parent support and multi-family groups. In addition our team works collaboratively with the teen's existing providers helping to ensure continuity of care and continued wellness.

Why Vista del Mar

Our team of professionals offer individualized treatment plans specifically tailored to each client's unique needs. Clients have access to a multidisciplinary team of experts that includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, and master’s-leveled therapists. Evidenced based curriculum provides clients with the opportunity to learn and develop tools for ongoing wellness and recovery. Clients and families are also encouraged to consider themselves part of the “treatment team.”

Groups meet three hours a day, three days a week, usually for five to eight week period. Length of programing is based upon each individual teen's patient’s treatment plan. Enrollment is ongoing, allowing patients to enter the program at anytime.
