Steven Ruths, M.D. is the Medical Director of Aurora Vista del Mar Hospital in Ventura, California. Dr. Ruths completed his residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Program in General Psychiatry and his fellowship at The UCSD Children’s Hospital in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Ruths coauthored a review article on the treatment of aggression in adolescents in the May 2004 Pediatric Annals. He was a Janssen Scholar for his research in dissociative disorders in adolescents while at Sheppard Pratt and was a member-in-training representative to the Maryland Psychiatric Society. Dr. Ruths also has a private practice in Ventura.

Dr. Sager studied at UCLA in General Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry where he did research studies in child development and attachment disorders in infancy. He remains an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA. He started his private practice in 1967 in General and Child Psychiatry and after five years returned to the LA Psychoanalytic Institute to receive special training in intensive psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. His practice branched out to inpatient work with adults, children and adolescents. In 1997 he obtained certification in addiction psychiatry with specialization in detoxification and treatment of drug addictions especially with adolescents. In 2007 he was recertified in Addiction Psychiatry. His recent focus is on obtaining a Masters certification in Psychopharmacology. Dr. Sager is currently the Service Director for the Adult ICU Unit at Aurora Vista del Mar Hospital. |

Dr. Reyes completed his residency training and fellowship at USC. He is board certified in General Psychiatry. Dr. Reyes was chief resident at USC in the Child and Adolescent Fellowship Program. He started his private practice in West Hills in 2001. Dr. Reyes is currently the Service Director of the Child/Adolescent Unit at Aurora Vista del Mar Hospital where he has been working since 2001. Prior to this he worked at Anacapa Hospital. |

Dr. Wood received his Ph.D. in Psychology from Nova University in Florida in 1978. He relocated to California in 1981 and was licensed as a Psychologist in CA in 1982 – present. He has been on staff as a Psychologist at Aurora Vista del Mar Hospital since 1990. He currently provides clinical supervision of psychology interns at the hospital and provides therapy and psychological testing for inpatients as needed. |
