Mental Health Worker

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, provide patient care to all patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders; to support the therapeutic milieu; to ensure the safety and well-being of these patients



Maintains the overall appearance of the hospital in optimal and sanitary conditions. Performs housekeeping duties throughout the facility



Medical Records Clerk


To support the medical records department through a variety of clerical, technical and related support services


UR Specialist

To proactively monitor utilization of continuum services and optimize reimbursement for Vista del Mar Hospital


Business Office Clerk

Responsible for all business office functions including, but not limted to, admitting activities for patients, financial couseling, collection and eligibility determination.


Director of Patient Relations

Responsible for the coordination, monitoring and supervision of all inquiry, assessment and admission functions. Overall responsibility for the assessment and disposition of all potential patients who call or come to the hospital; and for the process whereby patients are admitted to the hospital.  Responsibility for monitoring and reporting types, numbers and locations of hospital beds; providing information regarding potential admissions or assessments; following up on non-admissions so as to improve operating procedures and process; referring to alternate treatment resources when appropriate; supervising on and off campus assessment functions including all PAT operations; participating in the hospital referral development team to enhance service and image within the community; managing all communications and departmental personnel

Job Requirements
Masters degree in behavioral science with experience in a mental health setting.

Minimum Work Experience
Managerial, supervisory responsibilities in an acute mental healthcare setting.

Required License
LPC, LCSW, LMFT, RN, PSYD, PHD, preferred  


Executive Assistant

Reporting to the CEO – Responsible for excellent administrative support, performing advanced, diversified, and confidential tasks/projects. Additional expectations include strong initiative, professional communication, organizational, and customer service skills, working with minimal supervision while handling extensive latitude for independent judgement. This position will supervise other administrative staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.   

Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of education and work experience.

Minimum Work Experience
Three to five years of experience supporting the CEO and/or other Executive level leadership. Additionally, one year supervisory experience, preferred.

Nurse Supervisor

To facilitate delivery of high-quality, safe and effective nursing care assisting in the operation of the nursing department according to the legal guidelines of mental health care in the State of California: Supervising staff activities according to the hospital's goals and philosophy and supporting nursing staff in interpretation and implementation of policies, procedures and nursing standards of care; Strong knowledge of staffing patterns and scheduling as well as understand and apply applicable standards and regulations (e.g. JCAHO, CMS, Title 22).

Job Requirements

Minimum Work Experience
Two years supervisory/management experience in an inpatient mental healthcare setting preferred;

Required License
Current CA-RN License; CPR & CPI


RN Nurse Manager


The Nurse Manager will report to the CNO and is responsible for the delivery of mental health care services to the identified market and to assist in directing the ongoing effective management of the service delivery system.  Works closely with multiple disciplines and ensures quality standard of patient care is provided on all units.  Oversee the Nursing Supervisors to ensure compliance with all day to day operations.  Identify and develop training needs of nursing personnel in collaboration with the CNO.  Sound knowledge of Infection Prevention best practices preferred.  Must be flexible to alternative shifts to assist with Supervision of Nursing staff as needed.   Occasional on-call requirement.

Job Requirements
Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred.

Minimum Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory or Nurse Manager role preferred.  Experience as a Nurse Educator and acute psychiatric care experience preferred. 

Required License
Current CA-RN License; CPR & CPI
