About our Facility

Vista del Mar Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Ongoing education of our entire team ensures quality patient care, and each staff member is trained in patient relations. The facility contracts with most major managed care companies, and accepts both voluntary patients and patients on involuntary holds.

Located in Ventura County, the hospital is committed to providing quality patient care to surrounding counties and works closely with mental health care professionals in the region. Dedicated to ongoing community education, the facility hosts Lunch N' Learn workshops the third Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additionally, several 12-step support groups meet on the campus weekly.
